Xencio was honored to have been invited to speak on the main stage of the 4Gamechangers event “Europe meets Asia” this year in front of over 15.000 visitors (along with over 600 other prominent speakers like Austrian Bundespräsident Alexander van der Bellen). The event aims to connect and further inspire people who aim to change the world positively. For Xencio, they have set their sights on changing the World of Accounting (for SMEs).
The Start-up was presented by the Global Incubator Network (GIN) as a prime example of successful integration of a foreign Start-up, into the Austrian market and ecosystem. To date, 70 Asian Start-ups have gone through the GIN program and Xencio is the only Start-up out of them, to have established itself as GmbH in Austria.
GIN is a government initiative with the aim of internationalizing the Austrian Start-up ecosystem. It does so by promoting two-way exchanges between Austria and Asia and by helping the spread of new innovative business ideas.
CEO of Xencio GmbH, John Shen, first met with the project manager of GIN Annamaria Andres, in a FinTech Conference (Next Money Asia Fintech Finals) in Hongkong in January 2018. The meeting led to Xencio joining the 2-week GoAustria program in May 2018 and eventually, the 2-month long Vienna Start-up Package in October 2018. Xencio GmbH was then established in Vienna in January 2019.
After having focused on the needs of corporates in China, Xencio now aims to extend its services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Austria and Europe. The young Start-up is fine-tuning its product to fit their local customers’ needs while empowering Austria with their innovation.
The product is of special interest to the Austrian Market since the market consists of many SMEs who can benefit from it. The SMEs who use Xencio’s product are poised to achieve greater efficiencies within their organizations and save time and costs. Interested SMEs are able to sign up for a free trial account by getting in touch with the Xencio team through their website.
